A notebook is a portable computer that is easy to carry around. It is smaller in size than a laptop.

The focus of the manufacturing industry in the last two decades has been towards creating moderately powerful notebook machines that are more portable and cost less than laptops.
Pricier notebook models come with superior hardware and relatively high processing speeds.
Size and Weight
Notebooks generally have a screen size of 15” or less. Other than being small in size, notebooks are slim and sleek in appearance.
Besides their size, notebooks are also light in weight (around 5 lbs or even less) which makes them very suitable to carry around.
Price
Notebook machines are not expensive. Typically notebooks are priced between 200 – 500 dollars , which make them an affordable choice for students.
