The number of ports in Inspiron i3583 is a big plus.

As a result, the colors are not very bright, and you won’t be able to use the laptop in bright lights or sun. Due to the low number of nits, the brightness levels are also not very good. You will miss a lot of crucial scenes if you try to watch a movie with dark backgrounds. You may even have to switch off lights for better viewing of the dark scene. The screen has an overall weird color brightness and poor pixel density. The touch screen is a good addition to this laptop. The screen is semi-matte and quite responsive. The 256 Solid-state drive is a big plus of Inspiron i3583. Due to solid-state drive, the device comes to life in a short span of a few seconds. The quad-core processor can handle most of the software and offers a good browsing experience. The laptop is not for Photoshop. For video editing and Photoshop, you may have to go for i7. The Inspiron i3583 can handle only light games like ROBLOX or CS: GO, as it makes use of the Intel UHD Graphics 620, which regretfully isn’t made for intensive gaming. The laptop comes with standard Windows 10 in S mode. You are only able to install programs from the Microsoft Store, and that’s a real problem. But, once you get rid of S mode, and that is quite an easy task just a few clicks away! The option for switching out of S mode is available in the settings. Without a proper cooling system, it only lasts for an average of four hours of intensive browsing or binge-watching with a single charge. It is recommended to carry the charger while traveling!

On the whole, Inspiration 3583 ticks all the right boxes in the price offered by Dell. It’s a good option for everyday use. Even with the plastic body, it is solidly built and can last longer than you can expect. However, only a few additions would have made a huge difference.
A fingerprint sensor is a good option, but the price would increase, making it out of reach for low end-user. Also, the laptop would have become the first choice if it was a 2 in 1 laptop. It’s a touch screen and great to work with, but you can’t use it as a tablet as the keyboard is attached with solid hinges.
